I bless this blog with poetry

OMG, I have a blog! This is, like, soooooo rad!

Ha ha. I swear, I don't talk like that. I'm very picky about my writing, and if I ever use the word "rad," I might have to kill myself. Speaking of writing, I'm supposed to be doing a poetry assignment right now. I am so glad this assignment is over tomorrow, 'cause people keep asking me questions about limericks and sonnets. My reputation as a writer precedes me, but I'll be straight with you: I don't know anything about sonnets except what we learned as a class. Now I really, really, really don't like my classmates.

So, to get poetry out of system, I am giving it to you. Ta da!

A Screamo Girl's Ballad.

The warm sun rests upon my shoulder
The birds sing, perched on trees
They satisfy some with nature
They don't satisfy me

I bounce along, I dance, I fall
To sounds I alone hear
The rest of the world is silent
While screaming fills my ear

It's unnatural, I know that
I'm sorry; I don't care
I scream in my sick little head
And dance everywhere
